Emerson International Trading Limited.Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) has been established by the European Union Countries (including Netherland, Denmark, Sweden, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Finland and Germany) on 8 November, 2002. Both RoHS Directive (2002/95/EC) and WEEE Directive (2002/96/EC) entered into force on 13 February 2003The purpose of WEEE Directive is, as a first priority, the prevention of WEEE, and in addition, to promote the reuse, recycling and other forms of recovery of such wastes so as to reduce disposal.
● A maximum concentration value of 0.1% by weight in homogeneous materials for lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) shall be tolerated.
● A maximum concentration value of 0.01% by weight in homogeneous materials for cadmium shall be tolerated.
